Booking & payment
How do I book?
Send us a message on WhatsApp with your dates and number of guests. We reply personally, confirm availability and send you the details. Booking direct is always our best rate.
Do you need a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit confirms your booking, and the remaining balance is paid when you check in at the villa.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer, cash and debit card. We are not able to accept credit cards.
What if I need to cancel or change my dates?
Message us on WhatsApp as early as you can. Our team will walk you through the options for your booking.
Your stay
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 1:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Arriving early or leaving late? Tell us and we will store your bags.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included. You are welcome to make your own in the shared kitchen, which has cookware and utensils ready, and our staff are happy to recommend good breakfast spots nearby.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children are welcome. We do not have extra beds at the moment, so families often book the Two-Bedroom Villa, which sleeps up to four with a pool of its own.

Yes. The bathrooms have hot water from a water heater.
Is the pool private?
The Two-Bedroom Villa has a pool that is entirely yours. Each Double Room shares its villa pool with just one other room.
Do the rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi?
Yes. All rooms have air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa.
Can you help with laundry?
Yes. Just ask and we will help you find a laundry service on the island.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Makuta Villa is a non-smoking property.
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, pets are not allowed at the villa.

How do I get to Gili Trawangan?
Most guests take a fast boat from Bali, or fly into Lombok and cross from Bangsal harbour. Our travel guide covers every route step by step.

We do not sell boat tickets, but we are glad to recommend trusted operators and the best departure for your travel day.
How do I get from the harbour to the villa?
There are no cars on the island. Message us your boat time and we can book a cidomo (horse cart) to bring you and your bags from the harbour to the villa.
Is there an ATM nearby?
The nearest ATMs are around the harbour, and our staff can point you to them.
